The Width of Posts

The width of the posts in Front Page and Category views are determined by the width of the Featured Images assigned to the posts. However, masonry script will modify the width slightly when necessary the make the theme looks nice on all screen resolutions.

If you have a post without featured image, you still can set its width. When editing the post, under Screen Options, make sure that Custom Fields are enabled. Then, you can add custom field named as “width” and set one of the following values:

  • dynlayout_wide1
  • dynlayout_wide2
  • dynlayout_wide3
  • dynlayout_wide4
  • dynlayout_wide5

Logically, if you enter value dynlayout_wide1, the post’s width will be minimal, while entering the value dynlayout_wide5 will make the post’s width as wide as possible.
